You layout some drywall, run electrical conduit, drop in acoustic ceiling tiles, and pick a neutral carpet paint combo. However, if that same square footage is destined to become a healthcare facility, the baseline playbook completely changes.

In Georgia, transitioning a commercial space into a clinical environment requires a massive structural, mechanical, and regulatory pivot. A medical office upfit is not just a standard office with more sinks; it is a highly regulated environment governed by strict state mandates, specialized plumbing codes, and elevated federal requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
