Becoming A Major Player In Retail Construction

Retail and Tenant Finish Contractors, RTF Construction, got our start more than 25 years ago, focusing primarily on retail construction. We were fortunate to be a major contractor for Lenox Square in Atlanta. Lenox is one of the most upscale malls in the country, and it’s the fifth-highest in generating revenue. We built 34 of its 250 stores, including its corporate office.

We’ve also built ten stores in North Point Mall in Alpharetta, Georgia, and seven stores at Sugarloaf Mills (formerly called Discover Mills).

We’ve renovated a 30,000 square-foot H&M store in ninety days without disrupting the tenant’s business environment or disturbing the customer’s shopping experience. H&M is one of the largest fashion retailers in the world.

And for every store, we hit the date. In retail construction, you hit the date, or you don’t get any more work. It’s how you build and maintain a good reputation. RTF Construction has completed retail work in five southern states (Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama). We focus primarily on a 240-mile radius from our home location in Atlanta so that if there’s an emergency, our owners can drive to any worksite within twenty-four hours.

Also, it enables our team of subcontractors, that we regularly work with, to be within striking distance. This also allows us to bring a team approach to every worksite. This, in turn, helps us maintain high quality. One of our strengths is that we’ve established a solid network of experienced and reliable subcontractors who are team-oriented. Emphasizing a team-focused approach and awarding good subcontractors with timely and good pay contributes greatly to our success. It’s allowed us also to establish a team-focused relationship among the owner, the architects, and our construction team; and leads to a high-quality job for a fair price.

From conception through construction completion, we offer value engineering which maximizes functionality and cost-efficiency. We partner with our clients to bring about their vision while offering worry-free customer engagement, and partnerships are formed among the owner, architect, and contractor to achieve a common goal. Contact us today to start your next retail construction project with RTF Construction.
